As a parent of a teenage girl, I know firsthand the overwhelming desire to see your child happy and successful in their lives. We are often confused as to how to best support our children in adolescence and beyond. We want to encourage independence, but we hate to see the struggles that come with independence.

Our teenage and college-age daughters may say that they don’t need us, but this is the time that they need us the most. They are facing many difficult issues while at the same time their bodies and brains are continuing to develop and mature. They need our help to navigate through friendship issues, academic pressures, relationships and much more, but they don’t want to ask for it.

As parents, it is invaluable to have a Life Coach who understands the difficulty of parenting but is also able to relate to your daughter. Teenage girls and young women have an easy time relating to my interactive and supportive coaching style and my creative nature.

My goal is NOT to act as another parent, but rather to become a member of your daughter’s support team. Being the “non-parent” makes it much easier for me to connect with your daughter and implement a program that will nurture her self-awareness and self-promotion. And, as I help your daughter tackle issues, define goals, and transition to young adulthood, your own relationship with your daughter will also improve.
